Kanchenjunga (8,586m) is the third-highest mountain on Earth and Nepal’s most remote 8,000-metre expedition. From Kathmandu you fly or drive to Taplejung, then trek via Ghunsa to the north-side Base Camp at Pangpema.
The climbing period is long and committing. Restricted-area permits, a liaison framework, and a full High Vision staff team are arranged in advance. Camps, food, and high-altitude support stay in place through the summit window.
Expect a wilderness approach, cold nights, and serious objective hazard management. This expedition is for climbers with prior 8,000-metre or very strong 7,000-metre experience. Return is via Taplejung to Kathmandu.
