Lhotse (8,516m) stands immediately south of Everest and shares the same Khumbu approach and Base Camp. This expedition follows the classic trail from Lukla through Namche and Dingboche, then commits to a dedicated climbing period on the Lhotse Face.
Because the mountain is less crowded than Everest itself, climbers still move through serious high-altitude terrain — Icefall, Western Cwm, and steep ice — with High Vision’s Sherpa team, oxygen plan, and camp logistics. Spring is the primary season; autumn is possible in some years.
The itinerary is designed for mountaineers who already have 6,000–7,000m experience and want a true 8,000-metre summit without the Everest permit cost. Descent is via Base Camp, Namche, and the Lukla flight to Kathmandu.
