Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek Route:

We drive to Machhakhola through the Arughat from Kathmandu, where the trip starts. Going through terraced fields and tiny towns, we stroll past Budhi Gandaki River arriving at the town of Lapubesi. The stroll to Tatopani crosses woodlands, and little towns offers a natural aquifer shower to unwind in the evening. Perspectives on Sringi Himal goes with us while in transit to Philim. Best Time to trek Manaslu Tsum Valley

Like most treks in Nepal, the Best Time for the Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek is spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November). However, there is no absolute best time for everyone; it depends on how you feel about the crowds and your tolerance for heat, cold, and rain. Each season has its own pros and cons.

Weather in spring (March-May) and august (September-November) remains stable with clear views. But nights get a bit cold at higher elevations, so it is wise to pack some warm clothes.

Summer (June-August) is a monsoon in Nepal and receives heavy rainfall with a threat of floods and landslides. Plus, the rain makes the trail wet, muddy, and slippery. But monsoon is a real boon for keen botanists, as the entire vegetation is at its best.

Winter (December-February) is extremely cold in the Manaslu region (sometimes the temperature even drops to -10 degrees Celsius) and teahouses at higher reaches often remain closed due to heavy snowfall. The trek commences from sub-tropical to tundra climatic zones, whereas passing six different climatic zones. The trekking altitude is diverse.
