Born and raised in the Everest region, Buddhi has been part of the trekking and mountaineering industry in Nepal since 2005 A.D. He began his career as a porter and worked his way up through every role in the field: Assistant Guide, Assistant Cook, Cook, Trekking Guide, and Mountain Guide. Carrying all these years experience, he finally is carrying the current role as Field Operation Manager at High Vision Adventure Trek.
Buddhi is a Nepal government-licensed climbing guide with over 60 successful peak and mountain summits across Nepal. His career has also taken him across Europe, where he broadened his perspective on the tourism industry and brought fresh ideas back home.
Kind, supportive, and endlessly energetic, Buddhi now channels two decades of hands-on experience into leading his team and guiding travelers. He is passionate about sharing the treasures with the world: from Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, to Mt. Everest, the top of the world, and the rich cultural diversity found in between.
