Raj Rai is an absolute powerhouse in the world of Himalayan adventure. With several years of elite guiding experience, he has accomplished what few others on earth have: leading and successfully finishing the grueling Higher Great Himalaya Trail (GHT) two separate times.
From navigating Nepal’s most remote wilderness tracks to successfully summits of several high-altitude peaks, Raj knows the terrain of the Himalayas intimately. Yet, despite his elite mountaineering resume, Raj is most celebrated by clients for his warm, polite, and deeply customer-oriented approach. He is an exceptional communicator who takes the time to listen, explain, and ensure that every trekker feels safe and supported at every turn.
